It was great to do some pro bono work recently for Sibs, a wonderful charity that does great work to support brothers and sisters of disabled adults. As someone who fits into the second category, I really value the work this small charity does to raise awareness of the many issues faced by siblings and the practical help, advice and support they offer.
I initially joined the Sibs team for a brainstorm to help develop their new marketing and communications strategy and following on from this, volunteered to do an audit of the charity’s website to help improve content, navigation and engagement with both siblings (particularly adults as the charity has another site YoungSibs aimed at children) and other audiences. I’m hopeful the charity will be able to put some of my recommendations in place in the near future and hope I get to work with them again.
Thanks Monica McCaffrey for your lovely testimonial.
